In 2024, we took the first step toward something bigger: finding a permanent space where the festival can grow with more comfort, structure, and sustainability. This is how the dream of FATT LAND was born — a magical land in Ribeira do Ruivo (São Teotónio, Odemira), ready to flourish with your help.
Now is the time to build this new phase with permanent infrastructure, shaded areas, ecological toilets, showers, accessible paths, and much more. We believe that together we can make FATT LAND a reality.

FATT is organized by the Portuguese Didgeridoo Association (APD), a non-profit organization that promotes the Didgeridoo and its Australian Aboriginal culture. Organizing a festival like this requires dedication, love, and many resources.
The APD team has fought hard to keep the festival alive, but the truth is we need support to take the next step. FATT LAND is our vision for the future — a space where we can continue to celebrate tribal and traditional arts, promote sustainability, and build a vibrant community.
