APD

APD is a non-profit association that works on a voluntary basis, with the goal of promoting Australian Aboriginal culture through the dissemination of the didgeridoo.

It is a wind instrument originating from Australian Aboriginal culture, whose ancestral history and sonic richness inspire us to energize and promote this instrument through gatherings and events held across the country since 2002.

Founded in 2007, APD has extensive knowledge of Australian Aboriginal culture, with a special focus on the didgeridoo.

We are currently focused on the following goals:

Crowdfunding

Our crowdfunding campaign is underway to develop FATT LAND. FATT LAND will be created in harmony with nature, with ecological infrastructure and the planting of native trees.

FATT 2026

The Festival of Tribal and Traditional Arts (FATT) was founded in 2002 and is now celebrating its 17th edition. It will take place on August 27, 28, 29 and 30, at Ribeira do Ruivo, São Teotónio, Odemira.

A new goal

Recently, we moved our headquarters to the municipality of Odemira, with the aim of developing more events in this region and strengthening collaboration with local entities and the community.

Do you know FATT?

The Festival of Tribal and Traditional Arts (FATT) was founded in 2002 by the Portuguese Didgeridoo Association. Over more than 20 years, it has spread music, culture, and connection with nature across various locations in Portugal.
