Portuguese Didgeridoo Association

Sowing culture is our mission

APD

APD is a non-profit association that works on a voluntary basis, with the goal of promoting Australian Aboriginal culture through the dissemination of the didgeridoo.

It is a wind instrument originating from Australian Aboriginal culture, whose ancestral history and sonic richness inspire us to energize and promote this instrument through gatherings and events held across the country since 2002.

Founded in 2007, APD has extensive knowledge of Australian Aboriginal culture, with a special focus on the didgeridoo.

We are currently focused on the following goals:

Do you know FATT?

The Festival of Tribal and Traditional Arts (FATT) was founded in 2002 by the Portuguese Didgeridoo Association. Over more than 20 years, it has spread music, culture, and connection with nature across various locations in Portugal.

Magical Moments

We thank everyone who has supported us and inspired us throughout these 20 years, reinforcing our belief that we are on the right path. We will continue to focus on creating meaningful experiences and sharing knowledge.
