Didgeridoo Masterclass with Dubravko Lapaine

We are very pleased to announce a Didgeridoo Masterclass with Dubravko Lapaine. Du is a didgeridoo player who has changed the way didgeridoo is played on planet Earth and in his opus holds many of the technically most advanced didgeridoo songs ever recorded. His experience includes playing at nearly every didgeridoo festival, as well as doing countless workshops around the globe as well as his legendary Didgeridoo Masterclass in Croatia.

After the magic of FATT, we will extend the experience with a unique Masterclass where Dubravko Lapaine will guide an intensive didgeridoo training over two days (16 hours of training).

The masterclass will take place on August 31 and September 1, at the same location as the festival. It will be a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the didgeridoo and learn directly from the master.

Where and When

The masterclass will take place at the same venue where FATT 2026 is held, starting immediately after the festival, on August 31 and September 1.

Program

During two intensive days participants will get insight into a higher level didgeridoo playing than what is available anywhere else. In Du's terms, this will be on the Level 2 of Masterclass, only more compact. The program will be based on exercises with some theoretical background. A good insight into this you can get at Video

With all its diversity, it is hard to go into detail with this super comprehensive workshop, you will have to see it to believe it.

Who this workshop is for

Masterclass being categorized as Level 2 means the program is suitable if you have gone through the Masterclass in Croatia Level 1 and you have a grip of the matter. It is also suitable if you have great technical background and wish to be challenged.

You can also attend this mini Masterclass as an introduction to the amazingly deep and complex world of didgeridoo playing, more as a tourist, there will be some simpler exercises that most player will be able to do, but the point is to give you directions of great growth.
